The Lexington Council Garden Clubs would like to announce that they will coordinate the Lexington in Bloom 2020 competition.

Lexington in Bloom (LIB) is a biennial event held in early summer to showcase local home gardens and business landscapes.  LCGC invites all homeowners and places of business to enter their properties for judging by Council, local garden club members, and other gardening entities.

Entries will be accepted in May and early June.  Judging will take place in late June and early July, and winners be selected the second week of July.  A reception for winners will be held July 19.

Categories include:

1. Residential Front Yard–amateur
2. Residential Front Yard–professional
3. Business–small garden or planting
4. Business–large garden or planting
5. Children garden entries (ages 6-18)
6. Native/pollinator gardens–amateur
7. Native /pollinator gardens–professional
8. Miscellaneous–to be announced
