Fayette Rose and Garden Club
Fayette Rose and Garden Club meets at 1;30 in the afternoon on the second Friday of the month. In April our club met to make plans for our Spring and Summer meetings. Our civic project is the front garden at the Ronald McDonald House. We were very pleased with all the blooms of the bulbs we had planted last Fall and with the appearance of the garden after our clean-up work!
We traveled to Frankfort for our May meeting. We visited the beautiful gardens of Mr. Rosen. His over fifty varieties were in full bloom and putting on quite a show. We learned a lot about growing iris and enjoyed and appreciated his very warm hospitality.
Our club is welcoming new members.
