The Lexington in Bloom Contest recognizes the most outstanding gardens in Fayette County visible from the street. The goal of the contest is to instill a spirit of community, to increase civic pride, and to improve the visual appeal of the area through the imaginative use of flowers, plants and trees. **Winners will be selected in five categories:

Business, large garden
Business, small garden
Miscellaneous (apartments, non-profit entities’ gardens, neighborhood association entrances, container gardens, balcony gardens, etc.)
